Application in Paper Industry

Glass paper and plastic film are prone to sticking in summer, which can be effectively solved by treating them with a mixture of silica sol and monoglyceride. Processing photosensitive paper with a mixture of silica sol and photosensitive solution can make the paper surface smooth, the image vivid, and increase the exposure range. A pre coating used for drying drawings, photocopy paper, and offset paper, which can make the paper surface smooth, the image contrast clear, and the contrast good. After treating the surface of kraft paper and corrugated paper with silica sol, the anti slip properties of the paper can be improved, the sliding of layers during transportation can be reduced, and the moisture resistance and strength of the paper products can be enhanced. In the manufacturing of non grey copy paper, using silica sol instead of clay, talc powder, and silica powder coating can make its color more vivid. Perforated cards used in electronic computers, coated with silica sol, can have high stability and slip resistance, as well as good printability.
